VET in Schools Programme

Are you a secondary school student who knows they want their future in the hair, make-up or fashion industry? At Colour Cosmetica Academy, school students can achieve a qualification whilst gaining SACE points. Achieve a Certificate II level qualification in hairdressing, make-up artistry or image management (fashion styling). Students also have the opportunity to develop skills with specially designed short courses that build knowledge, skill and professionalism whilst providing insight and guidance into the industry.

Workshops can be conducted individually or in a group delivery format. The Colour Cosmetica Education Team can deliver workshops at the Colour Cosmetica Academy premises or in the comfort and professional environment of your own salon/business.

Education Provision Guidelines

In the hair, make-up, beauty and fashion industry, trends can change at the drop of a hat. That's why we carefully monitor and update the quality and currency of the information provided in each program whilst continuing present all programs to a high standard in accordance with the principles of Competency Based Training.

Our training programs are delivered in a practical format by qualified trainers and consultants who are fully conversant with industry needs, regulations and legislation. We do of course ensure all training programs are delivered and administered in accordance with AQTF guidelines and comply with all Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation and regulatory requirements. All programs and services incorporate access and equity considerations and that all assessment practice and processes are consistent with national guidelines.
