Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process that recognises an individual’s existing skills, knowledge, and experience towards the achievement of an Australian nationally recognised qualification or Statement of Attainment.

Skills and knowledge may have been gained through:

  • Employment and industry experience
  • Formal training and education (including Credit Transfer where applicable)
  • Informal training and professional development
  • Self-directed learning
  • General life experience
  • Volunteer and community-based work

As part of the RPL process, applicants are required to provide evidence demonstrating their competency against the requirements of the qualification. Where gaps in skills or knowledge are identified, gap training and/or additional assessment may be required before competency can be awarded.

Our experienced assessors will guide you through the process and help determine the most appropriate pathway towards achieving your qualification goals.

What our students say

Very friendly staff with great knowledge and experience, would highly recommend!

Matthew

I am so happy with Rebecca and Angela. I had a nice experience with all the staff and teachers. I finished my Diploma of Salon Management and still studying Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy.

Buddini

A truly professional, welcoming and warm environment. My daughter and I have no doubt whatsoever that Colour Cosmetica is the perfect fit for her.

Corinna

I adore the team at Colour Cosmetica. They are a tight knit family and treat their clients the same way. Couldn’t recommend them higher.

Tom

It was a great class. Rebecca thoroughly explained the steps from client consultation, contraindications, procedures and techniques including how to interact with the client. It was very useful and helped me to be more confident. I enjoyed the class very much.
